SBC field trip to Trap Pond State Park Thursday, April 6, 2023 8:30-11:30AM
We met in the parking lot then walked to the pond then past the Nature Center through the woods and circled along the pond and back to parking lot. 70 - 80 F, bright sun, low wind. Highlights were a white-eyed vireo and yellow-throated warblers. eBird Checklist #1
As the day heated up to 80 F we drove around the pond to the parking lot by Bethesda Church and walked the Bob Trail to the boardwalk. Finally, we drove to Raccoon Pond where we were enthralled by an up-close view of a very vocal Louisiana waterthrush!
