The BIG SIT Oct. 10 - Birds, Friends, & Fun
Updated: 6 hours ago
Join us for the "The Big Sit" at the Point at Cape Henlopen State Park on Saturday, Oct. 10 any time between 8:30 and 11 AM Bring your folding chairs and binoculars. We will locate our count circle near the parking lot to optimize our views of the Bay, the Ocean, adjacent dunes and shrubs. From our 17-foot diameter count circle, we will bird watch, drink coffee, eat bagels and chat with our birding friends. This is a fun & relaxing birding event for all levels of birders. NOTE: The Big Sit will serve as our October meeting; there will be NO Sunday, Oct. 11 meeting at the Lewes Public Library.
