SBC 2-night trip to Cape May, NJ 2/27-3/1
SBC 2-night trip to CAPE MAY, NJ area. We birded 20 eBird hot spots including the four (4) top hot spots in New Jersey for February. They are: Cape Island (Cape May Point), Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, Barnegat Lighthouse, and Lily Pond/Lake, Cape May. We observed 81 species. Highlights were: Common Eider, Harlequin Duck, Razorbill, Short-eared Owl, American Bittern, and Sandhill Crane. Checkout the eBird Trip Report for details and 23 checklists. (Photo©RobS

SBC Meeting Sunday, March 8, 2026 2:00PM DST at the Lewes Public Library. After a short meeting, we will view the 45 min. documentary "Hawk Watch" followed by a Q&A with the film's creators Alicia Wszelaki and Matthew Nothelfer.
