Hawk Watch 2026 Update!
Hawk Watch is on! The word is that we will have a paid counter for the Fall hawk watch at Cape Henlopen! No one has been identified as yet, but whoever is hired will likely need a place to stay from Sept. 1 st until Nov. 30 th . There is a stipend for housing included in the funding. If you are interested, or know of someone who is, please contact us @ sussexbirdclub@gmail.com .

Delaware "Bird-a-Thon" 2025
The SBC Road Runners would like to thank everyone for your generous donations to our team's effort for the 2025 DOS Bird-A-Thon. In the County category the Road Runners won the most species found at 133 and raised the most money--a whopping $9,082.50!! DOS President Joe Francis complimented the team by saying we "crushed the competition." This year's Bird-A-Thon raised a total of $42,000, and we are proud to have made a significant contribution.
