The Road Runners team of Rob & Carol Blye, Sue Gruver, Sharon Lynn, Rob Schroeder, Tom Stock and Nancy Cunningham plan to participate again in the Delaware Bird-a-Thon this year. We have a 24-hour period to bird in Sussex County. We plan to go out May 6--7. We’ll be looking to outperform our average of seeing about 120 birds.

For the 2025 Bird-a-Thon, DOS is partnering with Delaware Wildlands to support the acquisition of coastal property at Milford Neck. The parcel is 43.6 acres and includes 1,500 ft of shoreline. It is one of the last unprotected parcels of the Milford Neck coastline.

Please consider making a donation to preserve a local Milford property. The link to donate can be found on the Bird-a-Thon website. Or you can mail a check (payable to Delaware Bird-a-Thon) to Sue Gruver, 22 Lancaster Ln, Lewes, DE 19958. Either way, please remember to put Roadrunners as the team you’re supporting. Thank you!
