8 SBC members went on this all-day field trip to Chincoteague NWR. Weather was cool and very windy due to offshore hurricane. There are 6 eBird checklists. Our first stops were Queen Sound Landing and Mosquito Creek Bridge along the causeway to Chincoteague Island. Then we drove through the refuge (2 checklists: Black Duck Marsh and the Beach Access Rd.) After lunch at AJ's we drove down Main St. to Veterans Memorial Park. Lastly we drove the NWR Loop before heading home. (Photo©DebbieBlair)
