Blackwater NWR January 22

SBC Field Trip to Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026.

4 members of the Sussex Bird Club met at the Blackwater Visitor Center at 9 AM. We looked for birds around the Visitor Center and then along the Wildlife Drive. Overall, it was a good day with with 42 species including a few surprises! Check out the
