Sussex Bird Club field trip to Slaughter Beach, Marvel Saltmarsh and DuPont Nature Center. We spent 10 min at the beach next to the Fire Company then some time at the Marvel boardwalk. We spent most of our time at the DNC outdoor deck scoping for red knots, which were numerous but kept getting flushed by the researchers. The birds reported for this eBird checklist include all the species seen for the trip but numbers are primarily for the DNC area. (Photo©RGiannola)
