SBC Field Trip Thursday, May 11, 2023
Ten members of the Sussex Bird Club met at Phillips Landing in Laurel, DE. We birded around the parking lot, along the river edge, and then walked out the main forest path. It was a beautiful sunny (mostly bug-free) May morning.
Our 2nd stop was the big field at Nanticoke Wildlife Area where we saw lots of indigo buntings and blue grosbeaks in the fields.
